The graduated coral bead necklace to a pendant set with carved black onyx roses and lilies set with brilliant-cut diamonds, suspending an onyx bead tassel, length approximately 490mm, Italian maker's mark; together with a ring of crossover design set with carved onyx and coral cabochons with brilliant-cut diamond shoulders, size N.
Condition
Accompanied by CISGEM, report no. 6024, stating that the coral is pink. Largest sphere measuring 10.50-11.00mm, smallest sphere measuring 6.00-6.50mm. Oval cabochon 11.85 x 16.37 x 3.89mm. Also accompanied by a letter from CISGEM, report no. 6024, stating that the coral species is Corallium Elatius.
Stamped 750 indicating 18 carat gold on necklace clasp. Coral pale pink with typical mottling, some surface imperfections, some small areas of minor chipping and minor cracks. One coral bead broken and restuck, Onyx black, with small areas of chips. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated to weigh approximately 3.00-4.00 carats in total. Tassel with several beads deficient. Clasp closes securely. Necklace and pendant would benefit form restringing. Traces of solder to reverse. Scratches to surfaces consistent with wear. In good condition.
