The clasp of domed design, claw-set with circular-cut and cushion-shaped diamonds, to a flexible braided necklace, length approximately 410mm, French assay and maker's marks for René Boivin.

Condition

French assay marks for platinum and gold to reverse of domed clasp and tongue, maker's mark R.B. for René Boivin stamped on tongue. Central diamond measuring approximately 7.7 x 6.7mm, depth not possible to gauge due to mount. Estimated claritys SI2/I, estimated colour I-J. Remaining diamonds bright and lively. Estimated claritys SI2/I, some with surface reaching fractures and small chips. Metal surface with normal signs of wear such as scratching and some light discolouration consistent with age and wear. Clasp closes securely. Gross weight approximately 101 grams. Overall condition good.
