Condition

This early work by the artist has been lined with a non-wax adhesive. The lining is nicely stabilizing the paint layer without compromising the texture of the work. There is no visibly raised cracking. Under ultraviolet light, one can see six or seven retouches in the top of her hair and immediately to the right of her hair. There is some strengthening or retouching on the side of her shoulder on the far right, and another retouch in the bicep of the same arm. There is a retouching in the upper chest on the left side and a couple of tiny spots in the lower left. These retouches are quite well executed. It is recommended that the work be hung as is.
