the body inset with various German coins among embossed fruiting vines and foliage, cast eagle handles with ruby-glass eyes and hanging wreath pendants, on four large ivory stylised pomegranate feet, the domed cover similarly decorated and coin inset, enamelled silver mounted ivory vine and grape finial; the circular stand with coin-inset border and centre, the ladle with ivory coin-inset terminal, stamped 900
Condition
Marked to tureen, cover, stand and ladle '900' with crown & crescent mark only. The enamel to the final is crude and damaged in multiple places. The ivory is discoloured with small hairline cracks. The body with gilded interior. The ivory pomegranate feet are all split and dried, probably through water damage. The stand with some light scratching to the centre but otherwise good condition. The ladle with discoloured and 'dried' ivory terminal, slit through to upper-most point. Overall good condition apart from ivory and enamel elements.
