each side reserved with a gilt-edged quatrefoil panel of a Kauffahrtei scene of merchants by a quayside, the interior with a purple-camaïeu medallion of a similar scene, gilded border to rim, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, gilt numeral 49., impressed numeral 18 to inside edge of footrim, upon a high pierced scrollwork mount,

Condition
There is some typical scattered flakes to the gilding on the rim edge, and some wear to the gilding on the footrim where it has been mounted. There is a firing crack to the interior of the bowl. The mount with some occasional tarnishing only.
