one a white painted beech tray with wicker supports to each end conceived to hold morning newspapers, the other a white painted plywood example with pierced 'club' motifs, carrying handles and similar newspaper 'pockets' to each side and an adjustable reading surface with ratcheted support

Condition

Practical and cleverly made. Later white painted with old marks and scuffs from use. Example with ratcheted surface 16cm. high, 74cm. wide, 42cm. deep.
