- Pinted pine, steel and aluminium foiil
- each tree: 122cm. high; 4ft.
each with blue and silver 'needles', the branches arranged around a cylindrical silvered wood trunk on a collapsible tripod base, the original boxes printed 'Evergleam (R) Deluxe 85 Branch Stainless Aluminium Christmas Tree' and with a gummed paper label printed 'Harrods'
Provenance
Acquired by Deborah, Duchess of Devonshire (1920-2014) for a pair of George III pier tables with mirrors in the Blue Drawing Room at Chatsworth.
Condition
Fun. Much wear from use but well looked after. Boxes with damage. Nearly all the branches with their original card sleeves. Alumimum dirty in places and some branches bent. Silvered wood trunk with old marks and scratches. Gallery inspection recommended.
