of cylindrical form, the sides applied with rows of raised bosses and flanges, the domed cover with a stepped cylindrical finial, all supported on four pierced tab feet, the base with an unglazed seal mark reading Wang Shunxian zhi (2)

Condition

The teapot and cover appear to be in good overall condition. There are scattered glaze gaps, most noticeable long the sides of the raised flanges and along the lower edge of the feet. There is some bubbling to the glaze inside the mouth and traces of glaze on the lip of the cover. There is a seal in the cover reading Shunxian.
