molded with fluted walls rising to the bracketed rim, the exterior painted in shades of blue with alternating dragon and phoenix, between ruyi-band at the rim and waves around the base, the bottom and interior glazed white, the well painted with a bat and peach roundel

Condition

The bowl appears to be in overall good condition, except for the characteristic enameling flaws seen on pieces of this type. There is a light crackle and wear to the white enamel in the interior. The interior rim has some burst bubbles a 0.5 cm long glaze flaw. There is an approximately 0.8 cm scratch to the brown glaze on the exterior, and a glaze flaw to the bottom of the foot. there is a serial number inscribed in red pigment and glossed with varnish on the base.
