- Made circa 1780.
with later 'Adam' style brass handles, the first drawer formerly fitted
Condition
In 'Country House' condition. Nice quality but possibly re-polished. Old marks to the top including some ring marks. Chips and small replaced section to each corner moulding to each of the projecting corners. The top drawer with traces of former fittings, now lacking. The metal work is all later and there are traces of former handles. Age crack to second drawer. There is an age crack running vertically the entire way down the right side. The third and fourth drawers also have restored age cracks on the right side. The lowest frieze drawer has losses to the moulded edge which is also loose. Old marks and scratches commensurate with use. Attractive.
