Five terre de faïence cups, 1954-55, from the editions of 100, the white clay cups partially glazed, all partially enameled, with the Madoura and Empreinte Originale de Picasso stamps (5 cups)

Condition

Taureau - three tiny superficial chips in the rim and one chip on the foot, a few rubbed areas just inside the cup's rim. Sauterelle sur une branche - with minor surface soiling, mainly in the crevices of the design. Sylvette - several tiny, superficial chips in the cup's rim, the exposed clay darkened over t.mes , minor wear at the foot. (Scattered dark oxidation marks are likely inherent to the firing process and not condition imperfections.) Oursin - a few tiny, superficial chips in the cup's rim, the exposed clay darkened over t.mes , occasional minor surface soiling. Oursin - two chips in the cup's rim, one deeper and measuring approx. 1/2 in., a few smooth surface losses around the stamps at the base.
