Natural pearl and diamond necklace, late 19th century

Composed of a single graduated row of 234 natural pearls, measuring from approximately 5.5mm to 7.5mm, interspersed with seed pearls, to a circular clasp centring on a circular-cut diamond, length approximately 1717mm.

Accompanied by The Gem and Pearl Laboratory report no. 08867, stating that the pearls were found to be natural, saltwater. Clasp mounted in silver and gold. Pearls cream, well matched with rosé overtones. Diamond approximately 1.50 carats, estimated colour and claritys approximately J-K and Si, incluidng chip to table. Remaining stones bright and lively. In very good condition.
