Condition
Good condition for an object of this type and age. Minor marks nicks, scratches, abrasions, and small chips consistent with age and use. Small loss to edge of reverse on one side, through two holes for attachment. Remains of fabric decoration which covered the eyes including a crusty patch of old adhesive on the bridge of the nose as seen in catalogue photograph. Fiber attachment loose. Fine glossy blackened patina, partially toned in around the eyes. Fine aged medium brown patina on reverse.
