Condition

Fragmentary condition with insect damage throughout, with a columnar cavity extending from the top proper right of the head through the base, as shown in catalogue photographs; proper right arm, much of abdomen, proper right leg, part of proper right arm, and front of stool are lost. Remaining wood is thin in places but figure is stable. Neck broken and glued at base, right shoulder broken and glued (all parts original). Surface is weathered and rubbed with scratches, pits, abrasions, and small chips. Remains of insect nests. Red painted number "39" on underside.
