Condition
The canvas has an old relining which has become loose. The painting is offered in a carved and gilt wooden frame with several knocks and needs reguilding. The paint surface is secure but dirty and under a discoloured varnish. A very small tear is present in the sky upper centre. Inspection under UV light is impeded due to the thick reflective varnish.
