Condition
The canvases have good effective relinings and are offered in carved wooden frames on which a thick gold paint has been applied. The paint surfaces of these two over doors are secure and under a thick and slightly reflective varnish. No major damages are present. The painting illustrated above in the catalogue entry has a very small hole in the hand of the seated woman to the right of the composition. Inspection under UV light reveals some minor retouchings under the varnish. The paintings would benefit from a surface clean.
