the six panels centred on a bead and acanthus carved divide, each fielded panel with ribbon tied border and egg and dart decoration, the key hole covered with a finely chased gilt brass leaf cast escutcheon, the reverse of plain six panelled form, with a label printed His Grace, The Duke of Devonshire, K.G., Chesterfield (LM) and by hand Right of Entrance Hall

Condition

Good condition though would benefit from being cleaned and re-polished as the present polished surface is stained and water damaged in places. Some small chips to the edge of the top left corner.
