Condition

Original deep banded yellow and madder flatwoven end finishes. Overlocked fringes trimmed both ends. Corners with repairs. Bottom left corner with loose threads in section creating longer fringe. Split to corner of top end (approx. 1.5cm), which is flanked by rectangular section of banded repair; (see illustration for both these). Sides re-overcast in sections. Original yellow sidecords mainly folded under, due to ill-fitting cotton lining. Central motif of main field with large section of repair (approx. 31cm. x 9cm. wide). Area of repair to outer guards, at both ends, predominantly in yellow. Small repairs and areas of repiling in areas. Backed with cream cotton lining. Hoops attached along top end.
