Catalogue Note
Le style ancien de la région du fleuve Ramu se caractérise par l'ornement nasal à plusieurs épaisseurs et par le petit tenon sculpté dans le prolongement du menton. Au modelé délicat des cavités orbitales répond la tension des lignes de la coiffe et de la nervure médiane. Il porte au dos l'inscription manuscrite "I.C 5744 Ramu Dr. Bässler". Ancienne patine nuancée, brun rouge.
