Condition

Original canvas. There are scattered spots of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably to a line running parallel to the upper edge, and to the sky. Apart from some scattered very fine craquelure, notably to the white facade of the building, this work is in very good condition, with soft tones and rich colours. Held in a simple, muted silver-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
