Condition

"The following condition report has been provided by Henry Gentle, an independent restorer who is not an employee of Replica Shoes 's. The oak panel is in good condition and the paint layer is stable although the horizontal wood grain is proud and dominant in places and there has been moderate paint loss from the peaks. Restoration to reduce this effect can be seen. There has also been significant augmentation to the sky. Thinness to the paint in the foliage, left, the shadow of the altar and to the putto's stomach has been reinforced. The paint in the fore ground is in good condition and the removal of the varnish would bring a slight tonal improvement. Offered in a carved gilt wood frame, good condition."
"This lot is offered for sale subject to Replica Shoes 's Conditions of Business, which are available on request and printed in Replica Shoes 's sale catalogues.
