"The following condition report has been provided by Henry Gentle, an independent restorer who is not an employee of Replica Shoes 's. The canvas has been lined. There is a small patch reinforcing a damage, lower left. There is a repaired horizontal damage through the centre. The paint surface is stable with only one or two raised spots upper right. There are some areas of discoloured retouchings in the sky covering some paint loss and thinnesses where the pale ground is showing through. The foreground figures are in good condition and the colours are strong and the impasto crisp. The varnish is discoloured and its removal would improve the tonality. Contemporary dark wood frame-good condition."
