of conical form in the design of an upright cockscomb flower, with undulating folds magnificently articulated around the mouth and the upper exterior, carved in openwork relief with a large grasshopper perched on and weighing down a pointed leaf borne from the same stem as a smaller cockscomb, surrounded by smaller foliage, the interior left plain, of a dark-brown tone with deep patina
