Description
the bow-form crestrail over an S-curved splat flanked by curved stiles which continue through the rectangular soft cane woven seat, the slightly splayed legs of circular section, the serpentine arms with serpentine vertical supports, short barbed brackets joining the arms and front supports, box stretcher to legs, framed by beaded apron and long brackets to front and sides, underside with a pair of bowed transverse braces (2)

overall good visual condition, woven seats replaced, a few minor scattered surface scratches and abrasions, one chair with two filled small holes to back of one rear stile above seat, repaired break at juncture of one arm and rear stile, filled crack to splat rising 5 inches from seat, other chair with repair to juncture of stretcher and rear leg, two feet with filled chips; dimensions of seats are: height from floor 20 1/2 in., width 23 1/4 in., depth 17 3/4 in.
