comprising a powerfully and fiercely modeled seated male lion with brocade ball and matching female with cub, both with tightly scrolling manes and bell and tassel ornamented band-collars across their broad chests, fixed on rectangular stands with triangular side lappets ornamented with floral scrolls, the waists of the pedestals with lotus-petal and scroll borders, leiwen borders to upper and lower edges, all on scrolled bracket feet, the back of one base stamped  A 4 5, the back of the other stamped A 44 77 (2)

scattered patches of verdigris, some oxidation and wear to patina, particularly to extremities, moderate surface soiling
