of flattened circular form, each side carved in relief with lychees and pointed leaves borne on short stems, each fruit with a distinctive diaper ground, reserved against a floret diaper ground, the interior lacquered black (2)
Condition
One half of the box is in good condition.
The other half has age cracks and shrinkage to the sides, most of which appear to have been reinforced and now discolored. One chip to the rim 1/8 inch long, and a missing section 1/2 inch long. The rim has been repainted.
