of flattened pear-form with slightly waisted neck, all on low spreading foot, the neck flanked by a pair of stylized qilong flange 'handles', the body carved in high-relief with three phoenix, a fourth phoenix on the reverse above scrolling clouds in low-relief, the stone of a slightly mottled white with russet inclusions

lacking cover, a few tiny chips at the rim, tiny flake to head-feather and edge of left wing of lower left phoenix, another tiny flake to edge of tail feather of lower right phoenix, two tiny flakes to tail feather of phoenix on reverse, vertical inclusion with slight russet toning along one side, skillfully incorporated into the clouds, russet-colored inclusion to neck, a much smaller one to lip
