Description

each of cylindrical form tapering to a short foot and rising to a waisted straight neck, painted with lush tree peonies and a bird perched on a vine-entangled wisteria branch, picked out in green, pink and purple enamels, da ya zhai inscribed in iron-red with an iron-red tian di jia chun within a seal, reserved against a turquoise ground, the domed cover with the same motif surmounted by a double-peach finial, a four-character yong qing chang chun in iron-red to the base (4)

Condition

The vases and covers are in good overall condition with some minor wear and/or glaze pull to the turquoise enamel. One vase with a small area of kiln adhesion to the shoulder. Both covers with some kiln grit and wear to the famille-rose enamel.
