Description

the full pear-shaped body rising to a long slender neck, supported on a tall straight foot, covered overall with a crackled glaze of rich ruby color draining to a pale celadon towards the upper neck, the celadon glaze also on the recessed base

Condition

The vase is in good condition with one tiny pinhole to the mouth rim, and scattered negligible pinpricks on the craquelure. The body has dark red spots, some associated with the pinpricks. The foot rim is unglazed and has some minor old chips, the largest 1/8 inch wide.
