Description

the body of rectangular form with sides slightly curving up to the mouth, loop handle and curved spout of square section, the domed conforming cover with loop finial, the exterior and underside with mottled turquoise and dark-blue glaze, thinning at the extremities, hinting at the brown stoneware body beneath, underside with indistinct impressed seal mark, Japanese wood box (3)
