the wide flattened interior deftly carved with a pair of fish encircled by combed waves, surrounded by slender radiating lappets, the exterior with a bottom register of carved abstract wave patterns, below three molded lateral lines, the incurved rim with an upright scalloped edge, supported on a short tapered foot rim, covered overall in an olive-green glaze pooling to a deeper tone in the recesses
Condition
The washer is in good condition with a small area of glaze pull in the center of the interior 3/8 inch long. The foot rim and bottom of exterior with some glaze pull. The glaze is crackled throughout. Two chips to the foot rim, the longest 1 inch long. Inspected her UV light. The color is less saturated green than the catalogue image suggests.
