Condition
The board is in good condition. There are scattered small spots of retouching partially obscured under a heavy varnish, visible under ultraviolet light. Apart from several small nicks to the surface of the board, mainly to the upper left quadrant and the lower centre, and some light surface dirt, notably to the upper right side, this work is in good overall condition, with strong impasto and rich colours. Held in a gold and dark green-painted wood frame, under glass.
