comprising: one square Sugar Caddy on four scroll feet and a pair of rectangular Tea Caddies with sliding bases, all with straight sides and rounded shoulders, engraved on two sides with contemporary arms in rococo cartouches, the sliding covers with hinged shell finials, sugar caddy engraved twice on cover with arms, tea caddies with crests, marked on bases and undersides of covers, tea caddies also marked on one side

Catalogue Note
The arms are those of Dixie impaling Wright for Sir Walston Dixie, 4th Baronet, and his second wife whom he married in 1741 Theodosia, daughter of Henry Wright of Mobberley, Cheshire. He previously married in 1735 Anna, daughter of Tobias Frere, Governor of Barbados. She died in 1739. His second wife died in 1751, and he married thirdly in 1753 Margaret, daughter of William Cross of Scarborough. Sir Walston died in 1767.
