The following condition report was kindly provided by Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.: This painting is in very good condition. The canvas has an old glue lining. The paint layer is stable and has been recently cleaned and varnished. There are some small scratches to the paint layer to the center right side and in the lower left corner, yet other than this it is most likely that there are no restorations or damages. A very slight thinness has developed in the lower right corner where the signature is visible, but it does not appear that any restorations have been applied. With a few tiny retouches the picture should be hung as is.
