"The following condition report has been provided by Henry Gentle, an independent restorer who is not an employee of Replica Shoes 's. The original canvas has an old lining, the paint surface is unstable with recent small paint losses. Visibly discoloured restoration can be seen over the abraded paint surface , original glazes and scumbles have been compromised, e.g. the shadows the dress and the hair of the sitter. The varnish is discoloured and degraded."
