"The following condition report has been provided by Henry Gentle, an independent restorer who is not an employee of Replica Shoes

The original canvas is lined. The paint surface is raised but stable. There is a restored damage to the trunk of the tree behind the rider. Some of the prominent dark cracking has been retouched out along with paint loss and abrasion to the sky and pale foreground (visible under u-v light). Discoloured varnish."
