Colours: The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is very light wear to the top left and bottom left hand corner edges. There is a minute spot of paint loss to the tip of the bottom right hand corner. Close inspection reveals networks of extremely fine and stable drying craquelure with specks of paint loss to the top right hand corner. There are a few isolated fine hairline cracks scattered in places in the bottom left hand quadrant. There is a horizontal drying crack to the extreme top edge towards the left corner. There are two fine and stable feather cracks towards the top edge in the white painted area towards the figure's forehead and a few circular very fine drying cracks below them, to the left. There is a minute rub mark to the extreme left hand edge towards the top corner and one to the bottom edge towards the right corner. There are a few light handling marks to the white paint scattered in places in the top left hand quadrant.
