Condition
Colours: The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is deeper and richer in the original. Most of the white areas illustrated in the catalogue are silver foil in the original.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is light wear to all four corners. There is a light rub mark to the centre of the horizontal strip of foil, parallel to the top edge. The scattered creases to the foil are original to the work's execution. There are a few faint handling marks towards the upper centre of the extreme right hand edge as well as in places along the extreme left hand edge and a few light dents in places along the extreme right hand edge. The foil is lifting slightly in some areas, predominantly in the lower section of the composition. There are two minute losses to the centre of the right section of the bottom edge, visible only upon close inspection.
