Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is stronger and more vibrant in the original with the paper tone tending more to pale orange.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is a light undulation to the paper throughout which is securely hinged to the backing board in several places along the top edge. There is a tiny artist's pinhole in each corner and there is a small pressure bump to the paper in the upper right hand corner. There is a small brown media accretion towards the lower left corner and several very faint specks of wear above the middle of the bottom edge. As visible in the catalogue illustration, there is a vertical band of discoloration running parallel to the upper section of the right edge which would appear to be original to the work.
