Colours: The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration. Condition: This work is in very good original condition. There is a small artist's drill hole in both the top two corners. There are light handling marks in places throughout the composition most of which appear to be original to the work's execution. The surface and edges of the are slightly uneven throughout with tiny spots of media loss and wear scattered in places along all four edges. There are two red, light.mes dia accretions towards the top left hand corner. There is a long thin diagonal rub mark running between the first and second monkey, two smaller ones beneath it and a further two to the forehead of the first money. All of these appear to be original to the work's execution.
