Color warmer and lighter in reality; blue more turquoise, reds more vivid---very probably some chemical dyes.
Pile ranges from good 1/8 inch with foldwear areas overall lower and rug dirty so that pile appears unevenly sheared. a 2 x 2 inch reweave near center with tinting; abrashed in aubergine/chocolate brown ground to lighter brown have been tinted in areas in an attempt to even out the ground color.
Some foldwear spots showing warps.
Reselvaged; ends secured with blanket stitch.
Flexible handle, loose weave, sound fabric and condition, unusual coloring.
