comprising 10 vols., [1-6 and 8-11],  traditionally bound, entitled Shuko Jushu (collects ing 10 kinds of antiques), vol. 1 with pages of preface followed by illustrated guides to armour and other military accoutrements, the other volumes with illustrations only; undated and unsigned; the other a small pattern book, relating to sword fittings, flora and flauna, dated 1863; signed Katsushika Shimizu Isai, James L Bowes, Notes on Shippo, published by the Japan Society of Liverpool, 1895; 9 vols., incomplete, ehon Chokushi takara; 2 vols., incomplete, entitled Ishigumi ensei yaegaki den (Arrangement of stones in a Garden);  2 duplicate copies by Hishikawa Moronobu, entitled Tsukiyama Niwazukuri-den (A Study of landscape gardening); 4 books (2 sets of duplicates), entitled Shokoku Chatei Meiseki zue (Picture book of Famous tea gardens in the country); 3 vols., entitled Tsukiyama Teizo den (The study of Landscape Gardening), unknown artist;  Ehon Musashi Abumi by Hokusai, dated 1836; a copy of the New Test.mes nt, translated into Japanese; 1 ehon incomplete, entitled Kyoka yoru no Haykushu; another incomplete, entitled Butsuzo zui, containing preface and mokuroku only; another, a children's book, titled Domo tebikigusa, the last a miscelleanous notebook of an inventory list
