I n 2021 and 2022, Replica Shoes ’s London’s Prints & Multiples auctions achieved £42 million, surpassing the totals of our nearest competitors. Our themed sales such as Made in Britain and From Japan with Love, in addition to our biannual Prints & Multiples auctions, have greatly raised the profile of this collects ing category among both new and established buyers.

With the Pop prints market moving from strength to strength, we saw overwhelming interest in Warhol’s prints in particular throughout 2022. Perhaps most notably, an impression of his Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom achieved £529,200 in our September auction – a staggering result for a single screenprint, and a world record price for this subject at the t.mes .

We look forward to seeing what the next year brings for this market, starting with the March 2023 Prints & Multiples auction, which will focus on modern and contemporary editions.
