Original Robin Hood posters are amongst the most collectible posters of the 1930s. Very few are known to have survived, and they are highly collectable, as it is a landmark film, but also Errol Flynn's most famous role.

At $2 million, this film was the most expensive film that Warner Bros. had ever produced up to its time. It was directed by Michael Curtiz, and has a star-studded cast (Errol Flynn, Olivia de Havilland and Basil Rathbone) and lavish sets filmed in glossy Technicolor. Robin Hood offered in abundance the main draw of the swashbuckler film - colourful escapism.
