This romantic comedy was directed by George Cukor, and was a remake of the 1930 film. The cast includes Katharine Hepburn, Cary Grant and Doris Nolan. The film tells the story of a young man who has come from humble beginnings. His fiancée is from a wealthy family, who all apart from her eccentric sister and brother, do not understand why he would want to spend the early part of his life on holiday, instead of knuckling down to work !
