the melon-form lobed body rising from a flat base to a tall waisted neck, set with a strap handle opposite the long curved spout, the handle detailed with a small loop at the top, incised with a foliate motif beneath the handle and spout, the saucer-shaped cover set with a matching small loop and applied with a floral sprig as a knob, covered overall save for the base with a soft blue-tinged transparent glaze, Japanese double wood box
