Roland Octapad MIDI Drum Pad 8 used with the Grateful Dead
Drum pad (13” x 2” x 20.5”). Scuffs and wear.
The first of the Roland drum pads, introduced in 1985. Their innovation was to allow drummers and percussionists trigger sounds without needing a full electronic drum kit.
