Cask #8325, European Sherry Oak Hogshead, distilled in 1999, 1 of 2 bottles, with its twin bottle kept at Macallan's archive. The cask is specifically hand selected by Euan Kennedy, Lead Whisky Maker of Macallan, for its intensity, boldness and structure - an expression capable of telling the sensory story of Hong Kong through The Macallan lens.
All proceeds of this lot will directly go to Society of Community Organization Hong Kong

TASTING NOTES
Nose
Immediately redolent of deep incense and aromatic spices. Sweetness and complexity follows with notes of brown sugar, treacle and aromatic black tea. Further exploration provides hints of apricots, dried fruits and dark chocolate.
Palate
Decadent waves of spiced ginger, antique oak and beautiful sweetness. With t.mes , bright fruity notes come to the fore.
Finish
Long, rich and lasting with spice and tropical petrichor.

This evolution journey is designed to engage audiences on multiple levels, offering both a visual feast and an intellectual exploration of how the city has evolved overt.mes . through this artwork, I aim to spark a dialogue about the past, present, and future of urban landscapes, and encourage a renewed sense of connection with the ever-changing world around us.
THE ARTIST: Pat Wing Shan Wong (aka Flyingpig)
Pat Wing Shan Wong (aka Flyingpig) is the assistant professor in the Academy of Visual Art, Hong Kong Baptist University (BUAVA). Her practice lies in the intersections of architecture, technology, memory and identity that portray community stories ranging from people to landscapes and objects from her surroundings. In 2016, the first personal picture book The Scenery of Old Shops was published, presenting the life philosophy of these small shops and people who have been quietly working hard, with a warm and fresh style of painting.
Published in 2018, Once Upon a t.mes in Tai Kwun, a collects ion of 100 oral stories of the old neighbourhoods in Central, reconstructed the history and human relations of the museum and the community in the 1970s. Her works are now collects ed by the Hong Kong Museum of Art. In her artwork, she includes some Nature and Community Spirit elements.
