Publisher's brown buckram, spine and upper cover gilt-lettered and decorated; spine ends with slight wear, some rubbing of gilt lettering and decoration, inner hinges starting. Publisher's slipcase of paper-covered boards, spine lettered in brown; some fading and wear.

Copy 400 of 1500 numbered copies, this being one of 250 signed by both Joyce and Matisse.
