The present Bi-Retrograde Perpetual Calendar wristwatch with moon phase was introduced around 1996 by Roger Dubuis as part of the Sympathie series, with a stylised cushion-shaped gold case. The watch features a retrograde display of the day on the left, and a retrograde date display on the right, and a indicator for the month and leap year at twelve for a full perpetual calendar dial. The retrograde displays are marked by varying sizes of numbers and letters in consistent manner with the whimsy design of the curved outlines and sharp corners of the case and bezel.
